Riviera Classic Car Show

On 11th July 2026 to 12th July 2026

The display of fabulous vehicles is complemented by stage entertainment through the day, food outlets, a craft marquee and licensed bar.  This is a unique event which has developed its own very special relaxed and friendly atmosphere.  Such is its popularity that exhibitors bring their vehicles from over much of England, and bookings for spaces are full months in advance.  Some entries are individuals, whilst there are also clubs taking their own stand spaces. The range of vehicles is quite something to behold!  There are a few rare examples from the early part of the 1900s, lots of classics from the 50s to 70s or even a bit later.  There’s also a sprinkling of modern customs and supercars, commercial vehicles, scooters and motorbikes.

The show site is right at the heart of one of the most popular and busiest parts of Torbay and is always enjoyed by families on holiday as well as locals who make a point of visiting every year. With so much to see and do, it’s a great day out for all the family.

Reviews

  • Sights and smells - Cannot beat the smell and sound of a steam locomotive, a very scenic ride firstly along the beach, then along the river Dart. A couple of hours in Dartmouth then all aboard for trip back.
  • Lovely trip - The steam railway train is brilliant, the iconic click-clacking of the train was enjoyable to listen to and and the train ride had stunning views. The short ferry was also lovely (only about a minute or two).
  • Agatha Christie country - The ride on the train is beautiful right along the coast & Dart valley. You can also take your well behaved dog. I would highly recommend this excursion, we go every time that we are in Devon, it is not to be missed.
