International Agatha Christie Festival

Agatha Christie is Torquay's most well-known resident and the best selling author of all time. Every year Torquay celebrates the life and work of its most famous resident with a Festival, supported by the Arts Council of England, and this year is no exception.
Between 10th and 17th September 2022, Torquay will mark the centenary in style. Over 5 days, packed with expert speakers and other features, the International Agatha Chrisite Festival will celebrate Agatha Christie and her astonishingly rich and diverse legacy.

- Nostalgic - We included a cruise on our trip and spent an hour on the paddlesteamer (the captain pointing out some interesting features and telling a few stories along the way). This was a very enjoyable day and worth every penny.
- Excellent trip out - On recommendation from our hotel in Torquay we booked this and we were not disappointed. Steam train then ferry over to Dartmouth + a lovely river cruise for an hour included. We will visit again.
