Dart Music Festival
On 15th May 2026 to 17th May 2026 Dartmouth
Enjoying over 100 performances spanning nearly every musical genre, this now famous music festival offers a mix of orchestral, rock, choral, blues, opera, folk, and jazz performances at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues in the town of Dartmouth - including two churches, the bandstand in the Park, outside the castle, and various hotels, pubs, and restaurants, throughout the weekend. And most events are FREE! The Dart Music Festival's motto is "Music for All". Since it's inception in 1998, the Festival has attracted thousands of visitors and has become one of the stars in Dartmouth's calendar, appealing to old and young alike. There are many events from individual, group, and local school performances, to storytelling, dance displays and workshops.

- A thoroughly enjoyable day out - I was very impressed with the organisation, it was always very clear where we were supposed to go and what time we were supposed to be somewhere - would happily do it again.
- A great day out - The railway is fantastic and all the staff were very kind, polite and only to happy to give any assistance necessary. Can't wait to do it all again but with the grandchildren next time. Thank you to all the staff.
- Lovely trip - The steam railway train is brilliant, the iconic click-clacking of the train was enjoyable to listen to and and the train ride had stunning views. The short ferry was also lovely (only about a minute or two).
